Endomorphs, The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly

Endomorphs typically have a slower metabolism and put on weight easier than others. Characterized by a high volume of belly fat.

The good: Endomorphs can tack on muscle much more easily than an ectomorph, and genetically have more natural strength than others.

The Bad: Although they put on muscle easily due to their large frame, they also put on fat much more easily than others.

The Ugly: If you are looking to get fit being an endomorph I recommend a calorie restricted diet. Meaning you eat less calories than you burn.

Lift weights three times a week focusing on compound lifts in the 8 to 10 rep range.Shoot for about 30 seconds rest periods between sets so you get maximum calorie burning.

I also recommend doing 20 to 30 minutes of cardio 2-3 times a week. Follow these steps and you should be cutting weight and adding muscle in no time.
