Weight Training is Better Than Crossfit

Ever since the advent  of crossfit it has  gained popularity every year, now with it’s own crossfit games every year with the best crossfitters competing for a championship. But what if the best crossfitters in the world didn’t even use crossfit to train for the crossfit games?


Well it’s true, fact is crossfit is fun, exciting, and it work for beginners. The problem with crossfit is that  the whole main selling point is muscle confusion. Muscle confusion is the idea that your body will adapt to exercises you do on a regular basis thus limiting gains. What if I told you that your body is so efficient it can adapt to muscle confusion? That’s right the main selling point of crossfit is it’s greatest weakness after about 3-6 months of just doing crossfit your body will adapt and you will go from making gains to just burning calories and getting tired. So if the lean cut look is your goal strictly doing crossfit is for you.


Why is training better than crossfit? Well just think about the meaning of the word training “the action of undertaking a course of exercise and diet in preparation for a sporting event.” So what do you think is more efficient training for a specific purpose i.e the crossfit games, or doing a randomized workout everyday?
